In September 1988, Chris was diagnosed at just 14 months old with Astrocytoma (brain tumor). He went through 3 years of chemotherapy and 6 weeks of radiation. He has been in remission since 1991. The tumor was on his optical nerves so he is legally blind. He loved music and wanted to take lessons for a short while. Now Chris just teaches himself to play. He loves to sing and play his guitar at open mic nights and Rosie's Restaurant in New Oxford, PA to sing with Jam Band.
HOW DID CHRIS BECOME
INVOLVED WITH CCRF?
Chris is near and dear to our Executive Director - his late
uncle was engaged to her prior to passing away from a
heart attack at age 37 in November of 2009.
FOR THE LOVE OF MUSIC
Chris & Amy both love music!
In January of 2018, Amy started at CCRF and
was looking for some new ways to raise funds.
Chris is a childhood
